The Music Boutique
At the Music Boutique we have been privileged to witness children as young as 3 years old learn to play the piano.
We believe that no one is too young or too old to learn .... and have been teaching for over 12 years
Much research has been undertaken to compare a child's musical progress and understanding with many other areas of learning, from language skills, motor skills, numeracy and literacy - not to mention motivation which will benefit them through their education and onwards.
What our students and parents say
"My son's gained so much since he started at the Music Boutique and his playing's come on leaps and bounds. It's lovely to see him interact so naturally and confidently with Osho and Sini. Their dedication and enthusiasm is infectious.
He often spends time on his own practising songs and making up new ones but what pleases me most is that he never passes a piano or keyboard without sitting down with a grin for a quick tune".
'My son was so focused on doing his best that he cried when he made a mistake and played the wrong note!!'
"My daughters experience has been great, her piano teacher Eri has been a real inspiration for her, and has boosted her self-esteem and confidence, supporting her believe in her self. Initially my daughter just wanted to go along and play once a week, but Eri gave her confidence to also study and pass her grades in music.
My daughter’s confidence grew to the extent that my daughter was awarded a music scholarship for one of her secondary school options, although we did not take up that offer it was a massive boost of confidence for my child.
Following on from this my daughter has continued her piano playing and is a member of Tomorrows Warriors Jazz Ensemble, who are resident at the Southbank, all this from starting piano at the Music Boutique".
